The Battle We Can No Longer Ignore

We have a big problem. We are both aware of the issue of pornography and statistically, we know that a large percentage of men and women in your congregation are currently watching it. There is even a chance that your church staff, or you, are currently struggling.

Pornography's influence on the youth of your church is no doubt corrupting them, and marriages are being destroyed. If you are a Pastor who takes this seriously and is on the front lines of this battle, I salute you. The reality, however, is that we must all do more—much more.

With all respect, let me ask you some questions: What system do you have in place for men to come forward for help with pornography addiction? Do you have trained staff that know how to counsel these men? Will these men feel safe to come forward in your church or be judged and excommunicated? Do you have monitoring software on all church devices, including staff member’s personal phones?

From my perspective, there is no bigger issue to contend with than pornography in today's church. It is destroying countless lives, and no offense, but a sermon on porn once every six months is not enough. Turning a blind eye to the devil’s work is only giving him room to operate.

If you are open to the possibility, I have put together a one-hour slide presentation that I would like to present to the men of your congregation who are watching porn. You may be thinking that your flock won’t accept my testimony and that they may reject me. While this is possible, God is ultimately in control, and my testimony tends to help people see the limitless grace God offers his children.

In the short time since I have gone public, many men have opened up to me about things they never would have shared otherwise. They all noted my testimony as giving them the courage to speak out. In nearly all cases, they were hiding an addiction that lasted years, and they felt trapped.

The only way to deal with hidden sin is to bring it into the light, and I believe God will continue to use me in this capacity: Showing men that they can come forward before it’s too late.

If you're interested in having me speak in person, or virtually to your men, please click the button below for more information.

God Bless You,
Pastor Keith
